I recently used NJW Construction for a kitchen remodeling job. The person who came was Joel Walter. He started the work in October last year and finished it by January this year.
He was really good and he did a fabulous job. We live in a very old house and the kitchen was really in need of repairs. The kitchen had a tallow window which wouldn’t last forever. When he started this work he realized that he had to excavate the whole kitchen. That was not a part of his estimate. He did the job and he was beyond my expectations. Joel did the work in the kitchen and the family room. He did a really good job. After that we called N.J.W. when even there was a problem and it was taken care of quickly. The estimate given by Joel was the lowest and we had looked at many contractors and he had the best price. Our Architect had recommended Joel and his Company to us.

The project included the demo and reconstruction of two walls on the front of our house due to the remediation of a mold issue. Our house is only three years old and due to the mold, the job consisted of; removing the brick; removing the studs, insulation, exterior sheeting, and interior drywall; completely rebuilding the walls, interior drywall & painting, exterior sheeting, sure cavity & culture stone.

NJW did an excellent job with our project. I usually do all of my own work around the house bit this job was a little bigger than I could handle on my own at the time. NJW more than met all my expectations. Joel was always reachable to answer any questions or address issues. I threw a curve at them by asking for some specific new materials to be used in the project and NJW had not worked with them before. They researched the products and educated themselves on the proper installation methods to ensure it was being done correctly. Every issue I raised was handled promptly, professionally and to my satisfaction. Joel and his crew truly believe in complete customer satisfaction.

They were very respectful of both myself and my property at all times. They made sure the site was cleaned up at the end of each day. They were very proactive in keeping the lines of communications open. I’m not in the practice of hiring companies to do work for me, but I would use NJW again without hesitation.
